About this Trail

The Blue Ridge Loop Trail at Stebbins Cold Canyon Reserve begins and ends where Cold Creek crosses under Hwy 128. On the east side this trail runs up along Cold Creek, then turns west and climbs up to the top of Blue Ridge. The trail runs along the top of Blue Ridge, then descends back down to the trailhead. The trail provides scenic vistas of Cold Creek watershed to the south, Pleasants Ridge to the east and Lake Berryessa to the west. Wildflowers are abundant in the spring. Poison oak is also abundant. Beware of mountain lions.

Directions to Trailhead

On Hwy 128 about 10 miles west of Winters, CA. Just east of Monticello Dam & Lake Berryessa Reservoir

Notes on Difficulty Rating

The Blue Ridge Loop Trail has some elevation changes up and down, but these are nicely graded. There is also some rock scrambling in the section along the ridgeline.
